Custom Metallic Epoxy Kitchen Transformation — Newburgh, New York

We recently completed a stunning metallic epoxy installation in Newburgh, New York, turning an outdated tile kitchen floor into a clean, modern, marble-inspired centerpiece. The homeowners were tired of the dull, aging tile and wanted a fresh, seamless surface that felt unique, elegant, and brighter. Their request was simple: “We want something that looks like modern marble — but better.”

To bring their vision to life, we designed a custom metallic system using a soft gray and white blend, enhanced with subtle metallic black veining to mimic natural marble movement. This created a sophisticated, high-end look while maintaining the durability and functionality of epoxy.

Because the original floor was tile, proper preparation was crucial. We began by lightly grinding the tile surface to create the ideal profile for bonding. Next, we patched and filled all grout lines to level the floor and eliminate the grid pattern that tile leaves behind. Once the surface was uniform, we applied our EP-55 primer to maximize adhesion, followed by a flood coat to fully glass out the floor and remove any remaining grout impressions.

With a smooth foundation established, we poured the custom metallic blend and hand-worked the black veining throughout the surface to create a natural, flowing marble effect — exactly what the client envisioned. The project was completed with a durable polyurethane top coat, providing long-term protection against scratches, stains, foot traffic, and general wear.

The final result completely transformed the kitchen. What was once a dated tile floor is now a seamless, bright, and modern surface that elevates the entire room. The clients received the clean marble look they dreamed of — with a unique, one-of-one finish only metallic epoxy can provide.
